my good friend Shoshana died yesterday. They might have been able to save her or something if better hospitals and ambulances were put into place.
Shoshana was active in our community, led services once a month, and was a wonderful friend. It was at a band trip to Chicago, when her stomach started hurting. Soon enough, they called an ambulance, where she died.
Be aware that things like this can strike anywhere. Please prepare yourselves, just in case.
Rachel, I am truly sorry for your loss.
Thank you for pointing out the need for improved medical care in America.
Wow our thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend’s family right now Rach. I know how you feel, a little over a year ago my cousin passed away unexpectedly-she was only 30 years old. It hurts, I know. What you said is soo true, these things can happen out of the blue, without any warning. God Bless and I wish you and your whole community the best in the coming days…
I am deeply sorry for your loss. However, I feel as though healthcare in America, is the best, maybe not the cheapest, in the world! As an EMT, I can assure you that the staff on that ambulance did everything that they could.
I agree Chris…
I know they did. It’s a thing about preparedness. The AMERICANS can do more to help themselves.
Thank you!
